St. Joseph’s Immigrant Women’s Centre opened in Hamilton, Ontario. This was an offshoot of the refugee outreach work that the Sisters had carried on since January 1987 in the diocese. On June 2, 2015, the centre officially changed its name to Immigrant Working Centre Hamilton.
