Peterborough

St. Joseph’s Academy in Lindsay, Ontario became the first Motherhouse of the Congregation. It had formerly been the Loretto Academy administered by the Loretto Sisters. The Sisters also took charge of  elementary schools in Cobourg, Fort William and Port Arthur, Ontario.
